Research is finding out new information. You might need to know this information for school or for work, or you just might find a certain something interesting. There are many ways to do research and find new information. The easiest way to find out new information is by using the internet. It is extremely easily to go on google, or any other search engine, type in a question, and almost instantly get an answer. Another thing that you can do is go to a library and look for a book that will contain the information that you need. This is a harder method solely because it is not at your finger tips. You have to go and look for some books that might have the information that you need, then you have to skim through those books to see if they are good for whatever project you a working on. You have to do the same things with websites, but computers have shortcuts that can help make the process faster and easier. I have done a ton of research through school and for projects. For school, I have had to write a few research papers. These are my least favorite thing to research. I find it very hard to put so much information and so many thoughts from other people into one paper. Research papers are probably the most difficult thing I have done that involves research. Other instances include everyday things such as looking up the definition of a word or looking up something for a class. I have also done some research out of school. I enjoy build and fixing things. i wasn’t born with the knowledge of how everything works so I had to research it. Whenever I want to go and build or fix something, I research what I need, how I need to do it, if it is safe or not, and many other things.

  1. I agree sometimes its so hard to find the right research for certain research papers because it can be overwhelming. I think its cool how you incorporated the importance of researching building and fixing things I never thought that research would be used in that way even though it is something very common in daily life.

  2. I have never really considered the fact that googling something quickly out of curiosity constituted as a form a research, but that is an interesting point that is definitely true. We are all researching constantly in little ways, not just in formal papers.
